Monkey Boy and I stopped by Albertsons this morning while we were running errands to stock up some cheap American cheese and Nabisco crackers. The kids are getting ready to head back to school, and they LOVE packing crackers in there lunches so I thought I’d grab a few boxes to tide us over until the next big sale. Kraft American cheese was on sale for only $1.28 a package, but I had $1 off coupons so I was able to pick them up for only $.28 each!
Here are my 2 transactions.

Except for the cheese, could you have done this in 1 transaction. I know you must buy in 3 to get the $1.37 price but is that the limit. I need to get to Albertson’s fast. My husband teaches and school has already started, I’ve been struggling with lunch ideas and Wheat Thins are his favorite!
Mavis says
Yes! You can buy as many crackers as you want, just remember to buy them in sets of 3. 🙂

Did the store give you hassle about the Walmart logo on the B2G1? I would love to do your exact transactions. lol

I used the B2G1 with the walmart logo and the cashier studied it for a minute and then scanned it. It automatically took of $2.50! She said she doesn’t care what it said as long as it scanned. lol I actually bought 6 boxes of crackers and used (2) B2G1 coupon and just took of $2.50 automatically twice – no problems!

Last fall I got the same type deal with Wheat Thins and Kraft Chunk Cheese. We don’t have Albertson’s here in AL, but maybe this deal is around somewhere in a different store. Because your family does eat healthfully, I don’t think crackers and cheese in your children’s lunch is such a bad choice.
Now, I need to go get the ads from the car and see what is in our paper this week. I have not been in the grocery store since Sunday, and the ads came in the mail today, so I am behind.
Michele says
No, I did not have any troubles with the Walmart logo. I asked the manager before I went through the line.

At Fred Meyers today I found a blinkie machine with Kraft $1/2 cheese slices. I thought .78 was a good deal, where did you find the $1/1 coupon?
