Looking for a fun activity for the kids to do during Thanksgiving? Check out these super awesome turkey cookies The Girl and I made. Not only are they fun to make, they’re fun to eat!
Ingredients
Chocolate covered cookies {I used Oreo thin mints}
Mini M&M’s
Hershey’s Kisses
Chocolate Chips
Candy Corn
How to Make Thanksgiving Turkey Cookies
Carefully cut the bottoms off half of the chocolate covered cookies.
Spread melted chocolate chips over the tops of the cut cookies. Add 4 pieces of candy corn to each cookie in a fan shaped pattern and let set for 5 minutes.
Using melted chocolate, adhere 1 Hershey’s kiss to each whole cookie and let it set for 5 minutes. The, using a knife, apply a little bit of melted chocolate to the bottom of each cut cookie.
With more melted chocolate, adhere to cut cookie right behind the Hershey’s kiss. Add 1 red mini m&m for a wattle with melted chocolate, and viola! You’re done.

How about using GS Thin Mints? Then you wouldn’t have to cut off the bottoms??
