The Urban gardening book is going to come in handy, with me living in an apartment…thanks Mavis! Not doing much on the rainy Sunday except making Honey Oatmeal bread and Orange Buttermilk frosted cookies. Both are very time consuming. But well worth the results. Happy Sunday to you!

I think Santa has a helper besides the Elf on your shelf. I have taken advantage of several free books and other offers that I would never have found on my own! The free Kindle books are good for the authors, too, because I know I will buy more in those series now that I have had a chance to read their work……I love win/wins.:)

Ack! I am headed to the mall today. How did you know!?! My son’s free JCP haircut is at 2:30 pm today. So unfortunately, we will be headed to the mall this afternoon. It’s okay though. I need to find some pretty Christmas tights for the babygirl and a Christmas sweater for the boy. Then we need to stop by Natural Grocers (conveniently located next to our mall) to get some almonds for a Dark Chocolate Almond Toffee recipe I want to try. And then on to Kmart to pick up the rest of the ingredients and my store pickup order.

I don’t know about everyone else, but if I EVER put a light behind my TV devices… it would not look that clean back there! Where’s the layer of dust? Where are the cobwebs?! I cannot stand blogs with unrealistic photos! Geez!

Planted bulbs yesterday. I actually had the husband out digging holes for me. I think he likes to see all the color in the spring as much as I do. My Lowes had quite a few packages of bulbs left so I picked up a few. Thanks for the heads up on the great deal.
