This morning I’ll be making chocolate crepes with bananas for my tribe. I first posted this delicious recipe back in June, and we have enjoyed this recipe several times since then. There is always a request for seconds {and sometimes thirds} for these chocolate crepes. I hope you like them as much as we do.
Ingredients
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon sugar
3 fresh eggs
1/3 cup milk {I used 2%}
1 tablespoon butter, melted
2 bananas, sliced
1 pint fresh whipping cream
powdered sugar
maple syrup
Directions
Mix first 6 ingredients in a blender until smooth {about 5 seconds}.
Prepare crepes according to the directions on your crepe maker. Stuff crepes with fresh whipping cream and banana slices. Top with maple syrup, whipping cream and a sprinkle of powered sugar. Serve hot or cold.
Thinking about getting a crepe maker? Amazon currently has the CucinaPro 12 Inch Griddle & Crepe Maker in stock and the reviews are excellent!

My family would eat crepes for any meal of the day. I bought my cast iron crepe pan while I was travelling in Brittany. (They make crepes with buckwheat flour there…yummmm.)
I love my pan and it cooks excellent crepes, but how crazy it that to carry a 10-pound crepe pan around on a three week vacation in France?
Thanks for the recipe…I’m thinkin’ Chrisstmas morning!
