Single {or just having one of those days where you wish you were}? If you’re looking for love, I’m here to help. Each week, I’ll give you a new location and a list of cheesy, ahem, awesome pick-up lines. All you have to do is go on assignment and use them. You’re welcome in advance.
This weekend, head to the grocery store and try some of these lines out:
- Baby, have you been eating your Campbell’s soup? Because you are looking Mmm, Mmm good!
- Your name must be Lucky Charms, because you’re magically delicious.
- Roses are red, bananas are yellow, wanna go out with a nice little fellow?
- I heard milk does the body good, but man, how much have you been drinking?
- Baby, you’re so sweet, you put Hershey’s out of business. And, speaking of Hershey’s, how about a kiss?
- Is your name Pepsi? Because you sure are sizzling.
- Does your Dad own Snapple, because you’re made of the best stuff on earth.
- Let’s make like fabric softener and snuggle.
- This isn’t a beer belly, it’s a fuel tank for the love machine.
- Was your Dad a baker? Because you’ve got a nice set of buns!
Make sure to invite me to the wedding.
Have a great weekend,
Mavis
*I think number 4 is my favorite.

Oh Mavis… from the quality of those lines and the picture on the blog, I don’t think you probably ever had the need to work hard at a pickup line. 😉
Unfortunately for us guys, that kind of cheese never works. [And if it did, we’d wonder why.]
On the other hand, asking a lady for advice on how to select the right produce and being amazed at how smart she is whilst bemoaning not having a good cookbook or someone to show you how to cook it might just get an opening. [Never hurts to have a bag of dog kibble in your basket either.]

OMG, this just reminds me of Night at the Roxbury! Love it.
