Wow! A big thank you to One Hundred Dollars a Month reader Caroline who alerted us to this smashing deal on suburban chicken coop:
It’s priced to move fast at only $100,000! Wow–seriously?!
It kind of makes the Agarian Line at Williams-Sonoma seem reasonable. {My favorite deal there is, of course, the 1 gallon raspberry cane for $49.99 + shipping. Soooo hard to find good deals like this.}
What do you think, will you buying one today?

Well, once you read the description, it would be very hard not to buy. The only thing I am on the fence about is…. will they return to clean the hen house for me and gather the eggs? Hmmmm…..

Heck no!! But I am looking to start raising a few chickens for eggs. I live in the tacoma area, any ideas where I could find some chicks in our area?

The wierd thing too is that all of the “chickens” look to be roosters. Maybe the people that buy and sell these types of chicken coops don’t actually know the difference =)

🙂 I thought the same!
Bonnie G Morrow says
Maybe they didn’t want the pretty coop to get all messed up with eggs…..obviously a “man” thing!
Cecily says
Wow! Those “chickens” better lay golden eggs at that price;)
Mavis says
Ha!

I’d just love to meet the person who will actually fork over the cash to buy one of these! OMG…..this has to be a joke.
Mavis says
I know, huh? 🙂 Darrrrling, it’s time to fetch the eggs.

I need a “broody room” in my house! I could only watch 30 seconds of that video. Too much! Thanks for sharing, makes for a good chuckle. I am just amazed sometimes….

Okay, It is listed under “fantasy gifts”. What wackadoodle came up with this coop?
Tracy Delfel Johnson says
Does it come with 20 acres, all the chickens and a tractor ? 😉
Mavis says
Ha! It should for that price.
Jessi Severa says
Well what chicken doesn’t like to sit in the library and read a book to pass the time? Smh that someone will not only buy that, but believe that is an actual selling point. Lol
