My last favorite recipe for jam the past few years is made with local honey and chia seeds. Also no need to cook the fruit so all the enzymes and vitamins are intact. However I have not tried to freeze this so I guess it is only good for temporary use.

Another freezer recipe: Strawberry-Banana Freezer Jam. I use 2 parts strawberries to 1 part mashed banana (mash the banana with a fork, you get nice little pieces of banana in the jam). Follow a regular or reduced sugar recipe…..turns out Fantastic! Great on toast, english muffins or even on ice cream! I don’t always stick to the fruit ratio listed above – sometimes I add more banana or more strawberry….whatever I have on hand! ENJOY!
