Even though I’ve been gardening for 20 years, I’m still pleasantly surprised from time to time when I perform garden experiments.
Last month when I harvested lettuce greens from my container gardens, I was shocked to find out I was able to grow more lettuce with the organic potting soil as compared to the regular potting soil. I harvested 3 pounds, 12 ounces of lettuce from the regular potting soil and 4 pounds, 3 ounces from the organic potting soil.
