A two ingredient recipe that tastes like a million buck is totally my kind of recipe. It’s so simple even a kindergartener could make them {although I don’t recommend letting them, as I’m sure they’d turn the toothpicks into weapons and someone would lose an eye and then someone would sue me. So if you let your kindergartener make these, be prepared for the carnage. There’s your warning!}.
The problem with these is you can easily pop one after another after another in your mouth and consume them all before the dish ever hits the dinner table. So I recommend doubling or quadrupling the recipe. And then I recommend heading outside for a run to burn off the umpteen calories you just swallowed!
8 bacon slices, cut in half
16 small new potatoes
Toothpicks
Preheat oven to 400 F. Take each potato and wrap with a half slice of bacon. Secure bacon in place with a toothpick. Place all wrapped potatoes on a baking dish and bake about 45 minutes, or until potatoes are tender. Enjoy!
