Kids love chicken nuggets. Why not make a lunch of them on your own terms? This bento combines their favorite, with healthy sides. P.S. No need to tell them you slipped them the whole-grain, no crappity-crap nuggets, either.
Ingredients
Chicken Nuggets
Cheese
Celery
Cherry Tomatoes
Ranch
Bake the chicken nuggets as per the directions. While they are baking, slice cheese into sticks using a sharp knife. Arrange the cheese into a silicone baking cup. Squeeze some ranch into another silicone cup. Wash and slice the celery. Wash the cherry tomatoes. {Make sure they are completely dry before you place them into the bento box.} Once the chicken nuggets are baked and cooled, arrange them into the container. Arrange the remaining ingredients around the nuggets.

I was just on EHow to look up how to flush your water lines, (we live in Florida and have some sand in them) and at the bottom of the page was your pic so I looked and it referred to an article on how to extend your growing season! It just took me by surprise when I saw your photo as I am a reader of yours!

That’s awesome!

How do you keep the dip from getting all over everything else? My son must swing his lunch box in circles or something because he complains all the time about everything getting mixed up before lunchtime.

i have the same question as lea – wouldn’t the ranch end up all over everything?
Mavis says
I have an older child so that’s not something I worry about much anymore. But a sealable container for the ranch would probably work better!

Inquiring minds have to know, did the dressing spill in transit?
Mavis says
Pictures are sometimes too good to be true! You can put the dressing in a very small seal or snap shut container if you are afraid it will be tossed around.
