I had a birthday…
I was suppose to meet my sisters for lunch at Panera…
But I was super tired… and had a lot of stuff to do….
( I know… imagine me… turning down a FREE lunch)
So they mailed off my present instead…

It arrived via a rather flirty (ewwww) Fed Ex man…
Note to L.G. : Next time use UPS… I like the UPS guy… he’s a nice and chatty older guy… who definitely does not flirt… mostly he likes to look at where the package is from and make a funny comment… I like him better.
We kinda have this standing rule…
Gifts have to be FREE…
So when I saw the glamorous wrapping…
I knew immediately what was inside…
Why spend money on a card… when you can use a postcard?
The contents of the bag were filled with coupons…
Like this one… advertising fungus toenails…
Sweet! Are they trying to tell me something????
But… the highlight … was a coupon for a FREE Gallon Of Milk!
You should all be so lucky on our Birthday…

You gave me just what I wanted!
And just so you don’t think I only received coupons for my birthday… My lovely in-laws sent me a $100 gift card to Target and my parents took us out to dinner and gave me a few books…
But best of all…
We had Panera take out for my birthday dinner!
Who said getting old wasn’t fun?
