A big thank you to One Hundred Dollars a Month reader Lindsey who shared this recipe for Butter-Glazed Radishes from Orangette. The radishes were superb and I will definitely be making this dish again!
Ingredients
1 pound radishes
2 tablespoons butter
1/3 cup chicken stock
1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Trim the tops and roots off radishes, scrub and slice in half.
Melt the butter in a large sauce pan, add chicken stock and radishes and simmer over medium heat for about 15 -20 minutes ir until the radishes are tender and the liquid reduces to a glaze.
Add salt and pepper and garnish with parsley. Serve warm.

I always get radishes in my reclaimed food boxes, but don’t know what to do with them and usually toss them. I am definately going to try this recipe. Thank you! 🙂

Thanks for sharing this recipe. Finally got around to making it the other night. OH MY GOSH! it was soooo gooood! Honestly I held off due to the fresh parsley, wasn’t sure what to do with a bunch of it. Well it worked out great since I am pet sitting my nieces bunny and she loves parsley.
