Meet Francisco. He hails from San Francisco, but lucky for me when he relocated he landed right down the street. And who could ask for a cooler neighbor. Not only is he up for bartering anytime, but he’s also vegan. That makes my life a heck of a lot easier when I have a ton (literally) of vegetables I need to barter away.
One of my favorite things about Francisco is that he thinks expiration dates on food products are a total scam. Sure I may come home with an 8 year old can of soup after one of our bartering sessions, but I don’t mind because he is so much fun.
