Holy canolies! I just checked the weather forecast for this week and we are supposed to get some sunshine everyday this week but one. I guess that means BBQ season has officially begun! Yee-Haw.
Here are a few recipes for this week:
3 Breakfast Ideas
Poppy Seed Muffins – Some weeks I don’t want to have to think about breakfast. I just want everyone to grab something and get out of the door, that’s where these muffins come in. You make them once and they feed you most of the week. {Pin it for Later}
Bacon Pancakes – Adding bacon to pancakes is such a simple thing, but you’d think my family won the lottery by how excited they get when they see that these are for breakfast. {Pin it for Later}
Sausage and Apple Cheddar Biscuit Bake – This is the perfect Sunday morning breakfast. It’s great if you need to feed a large, hungry crowd too. {Pin it for Later}
4 Lunch Ideas and Dinner Ideas
BBQ Chicken and Bacon Wrap – These are sooooo tasty. And if you really wanted to make it easier, you could grab a rotisserie chicken on your way home to shred and use. {Pin it for Later}
Chickpeas with Broccoli Raab and Bacon – This salad is the reason I started to grow Broccoli Raab in my garden. It makes eating your greens easy. {Pin it for Later}
Green Beans with Sweet Onions and Bacon – I think I must have bacon on the brain, because every one of my recipes involving bacon seems to be drawing me in. These green beans make a great side with simple grilled chicken. {Pin it for Later}
Peach Ginger Glazed Grilled Chicken – The name of this chicken makes it seem way more complicated than it actually is. The ingredients are really simple {read: you probably have most of them on hand} and the result is super delicious. {Pin it for Later}
3 Sweet Treats
Pretzel Cookies with Chocolate & Peanut Butter Chips – Holy salty sweet heaven. These are divine. {Pin it for Later}
Peanut Butter Protein Balls – These make a great quick on-the-go snack. They are also perfect for the kids after school or on their way to practice.{Pin it for Later}
Cranberry Pistachio Cornmeal Biscotti – If you like biscotti, then you will LOVE this recipe. Don’t let the cornmeal throw you off–it actually works really well with all of the flavors. {Hint: It tastes even better dipped in hot tea.} {Pin it for Later}
Freezer Pancakes – Freezer meals don’t have to be limited to dinner. I don’t feel like cooking pretty much around the clock. These help me not feel so bad about it. 🙂 {Pin it for Later}
Featured Food Preservation Recipe
Dehydrated Canned Pineapple – There are so many things I love about this recipe: One, you can make it any time of year. Two, they come already sliced, so no prep work. Three, they are delicious. {Pin it for Later}
What are YOU planning on making this week?
