Summer is here and for most of us school is already out or we are counting down the days until it is. Keeping your family fed in the summer time can be easy peasy if you’ve got a plan.
Here are a few of my favorite recipes for this week:3 Breakfast Ideas
- Coconut Oil Biscuits – These have 3 ingredients. Really, just 3. And they are fluffy and delicious with jam slathered all over them. {Pin it for Later}
- Strawberry Almond Granola – If you have a strawberry patch, you’ll probably have enough strawberries any day to make up a batch of this granola. {Pin it for Later}
- Blueberry Banana Oat Bread – This quick bread recipe is easy and the oats ensure that it is a breakfast that sticks with you all morning.{Pin it for Later}
4 Lunch Ideas and Dinner Ideas
- Black Bean Fajitas – This meatless meal is full of flavor. They are so quick and simple to whip up too, you almost feel guilty saying you “made” dinner. {Pin it for Later}
- Maple Soy Chicken Thighs – Typically I bake these, but if you are BBQ’ing, they would grill up great too. {Pin it for Later}
- Cranberry Chicken Salad – This is the perfect weeknight meal. It goes together quickly and tastes fantastic. If you don’t have cranberries, raisins taste delicious too. {Pin it for Later}
- Slow Cooker Chili Verde Soup – Even though the days are getting warmer, I still love to have a bowl of soup for lunch. {Pin it for Later}
- Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp – This tastes just like your grandma used to make it. It’s always a hit whenever I make it. {Pin it for Later}
- Strawberry Syrup – This stuff takes pancakes to a whole new level. It’s delightful. {Pin it for Later}
- Banana Fudgesicles – The kids are starting to get out of school, so it’s time to get creative with summer time snacks. These fudgesicles have bananas, cocoa powder and vanilla. That’s it. You can trick the kiddos into thinking they are getting more of a dessert than they actually are. {Pin it for Later}
- Breakfast Burritos – If you camp, these are the perfect camping breakfast. You can make them now and throw them in the cooler to warm up when you get into the mountains. {Pin it for Later}
- How to Can Dilly Beans – It’s never to early to start planning your canning line-up. Also, I realize how nerdy it sound when I type that. I accept it. {Pin it for Later}
What are YOU planning on making this week?
