Even though I don’t make a weekly menu plan, I still love the idea of having a bunch of recipes right in front of me to choose from. Here are a few recipes from my recipe collection I thought you might like:3 Breakfast Ideas
- Spiced Pear Muffins with Crumb Topping – These are a fantastic variation on your standard muffin. I mean, when is the last time you used pears for muffins? Believe me, though, once you’ve tried them, you may never use anything else again. {Pin it for Later}
- Easy Spinach Fritatta – I love frittatas because they taste just as good cold, which means I get breakfast all week long from one recipe. {Pin it for Later}
- Blueberry Buckle – Frozen blueberries work beautifully for this recipe. {Pin it for Later}
4 Lunch Ideas and Dinner Ideas
- Chicken Quinoa Taco Salad – This protein packed dinner is a little bit everything you love, nothing you don’t. {Pin it for Later}
- Easy Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup – Has cold/flu season hit your house yet? This soup will fix you right up. {Pin it for Later}
- Roasted Five-Spice Carrots – I don’t know about you, but I’m still diggin’ up carrots. Guess it’s time to make a batch of these suckers. {Pin it for Later}
- Chicken Casserole with Mashed Potato Topping – There is something so comforting about a one-dish meal, plus mashed potato topping is like the cool whip of the savory world–it just takes everything to a new place. {Pin it for Later}
- S’mores Cookies – Bring the best part about summer indoors during the cold with these tasty campfire-inspired cookies. {Pin it for Later}
- Traditional Pound Cake – Pound cake is the perfect cake to add anything you like to: frozen berries, homemade syrups, or plain. {Pin it for Later}
- Mrs. Hillbilly’s Amaretto Cheesecake Recipe – As the name implies, this recipe was passed onto me by Mrs. Hillbilly, and saying it is SPECTACULAR is a massive understatement. {Pin it for Later}
- Pineapple Teriyaki Chicken – I love this recipe, because all I have to do is heat it in the crock pot and make some rice. {Pin it for Later}
Featured Canning Recipe
- Orange Marmalade – Oranges will be hitting the stores soon {for a decent price, anyway}, so plan to whip some of this marmalade up for the upcoming holidays. {Pin it for Later}

Today I made this:

and oh Dog it was good! I live very rurally and it’s hard to get unusual items in the local markets, so last time I was in the city I bought curry paste and fish sauce so I could try recipes like these. I am so glad I did! Yum yum!
