One Hundred Dollars a Month

I am your typical housewife living in high maintenance suburbia. I have a handsome husband, 2 kids and a flock of pet chickens. I try and feed my family with $100 a month. With the help of coupons, gardening and bartering I am able to squeeze the most out of our grocery budget and still manage to have a little fun along the way.

I worked in the kitchen all day yesterday…


And now my house smells like a bakery…

I ate a few cupcakes…
1 for breakfast… 1 for lunch… and 1 for dinner…
and maybe two or three more during snack time…

And… Well… I came up a little short of the requested 250 cupcakes…
I frosted 236 to be exact…
Let’s hope she doesn’t count.
