Quote of the Day “Keep your best wishes, close to your heart and watch what happens” ~ Tony DeLiso
Monday, Monday, Monday! It’s currently raining outside my window and I think today it’s supposed to hit 65 degrees. Tomorrow? 87. WOWZA! So, I’m thinking once the rain stops TODAY IS THE DAY to get outside and garden and tomorrow I’ll hunker down inside.
What’s the weather like in YOUR neck of the woods today? Curious minds want to know. Have a great day everyone,
♥ Mavis

I read an article about keeping ticks off your clothed by spraying them with pyrethrum (I think that’s how you spell it). The pyrethrum gives the critters ‘hot feet’ making them fall off. Pretty cool! You might want to read it.
Have a lovely Monday!
Shari Harniss says
Clothing not clothed! Sorry!

You asked your readers how the weather is in our neck of the woods. Well, the weather predictions where I am for today and tomorrow are exactly the same as yours—-which makes me think that we are in the same “neck of the woods.”
Ellen in Clackamas says
It’s 51′ here in Portland, Or right now and forecast for 71′ later. Partly cloudy but not raining which is surprising because it seems like every Memorial Day is cool and wet. Gardening is also in my plans. I bought tomato plants and need to get them in the ground.
Connie says
We are over 100 for next 10 days at least. High desert so cool mornings and evening. i do yard work early!
Sue R. says
Willamette Valley, Oregon–sunny and high of 74 🙂
Sandy says
It was gorgeous today, wasn’t it? All day out in the garden. All. Day. I am too tired to even cook!
Lisa says
Hot and humid with temps in the high 90’s and close to 100 degrees in some areas here in Minnesota today. Heat advisory from 1:00-7:00! No breeze so air quality alert too. Tomorrow will be the sixth and last day in the 90’s…a record for us in the month of May. Chance of thunderstorms this evening.
Mavis Butterfield says
Close to 100 in Minnesota!!!
Patty says
I’m also from Minnesota, the temps here have been ridiculous considering that six weekends ago we had a blizzard with 20.8 inches of snow. Only in Minnesota!
lynne says
North-central Wisconsin… Mid 90’s – again. Makes indoor living a must. We moved here last August. This is the 5th home we’ve had, and the first one with A/C. I’m now spoiled, and cannot imagine NOT having A/C.
It’s a good day to work at the sewing machine :-). LynneinWI
Cheryl says
Supposedly we will have bits of rain over the next 3 days which would be a welcome relief from the two 90+ days we just had last week. My niece invited the family over for a BBQ, she neglected to say the AC wasn’t working on one of those 90+ days.
On a side note, I love the pic of Lucy on top looking over her charges!
Cheryl says
oh and I live in Denver, Co.
Pam says
It is Hot in SW Michigan! Ninety-three yesterday and today, 87 tomorrow. We went from cool and rainy to steaming! I managed to get most of the planting done but will wait for it to cool down into the 80’s before I finish. I love hot summer weather but the 90″s are a bit too much.
Linda says
92 in SW Ohio and sunny. Great day for a family picnic – I made pulled pork and strawberry shortcake to go with corn on the cob, potato salad, broccoli salad and pasta salad.
Ellen says
In Tucson, it’s going to 105 this coming week…no rain for months and super dry.
Ann says
Dallas as well.
Tracy Tidwell says
Mavis I have to laugh when you say the temp is going to be 87 and you will have to hunker down.
I am looking at my outdoor thermometer that is under my porch and it says 104. I’m about 50 miles North of Houston. I will trade you anytime.
