Quote of the Day “Never discourage anyone who makes progress, no matter how slow.” – Plato
Hello Friday! Does anyone have any exciting plans for the weekend? Today I have to take Miss Lucy in for to have her blood work tested before she gets her injection on Monday for her Addison’s Disease. She’s been doing great ever since they found out what was wrong with her and put her on medication, so hopefully everything today will go smoothly. 🙂 Pups, they’re like mini humans…. And so so sweet.
Enjoy the sun!

Hi Mavis,
Yesterday you mentioned how tired you feel all the time. I just have to comment that tiredness is a symptom of Lyme disease. I think you mentioned earlier that you were bitten by a tick. You might want to get tested for Lyme. It only gets worse the longer it goes untreated.
Mavis Butterfield says
3 tick bites so far!!! I plan on getting tested soon.
Alison says
Another cause of fatigue can be thyroid issues. Do you have a good doc for you yet? I know you found one for Lucy.
Robin says
Good idea to get tested for Lyme. Hope it isn’t the case! Another possibility for being tired is the heat and humidity, especially when there’s no AC. I get sluggish and beat when the temp goes over 80 and perk up when it’s cooler or when we turn on the AC.

Mavis, I have to tell you I took your advice and ordered the linen sheets….OMG!!! I live upstate NY and we’ve had HHH summer and I said cool with a fan and the sheets, really!! I was so impressed I told three of my friends and they are buying them too.I should get a commission..LOL. Thanks again

I also bought some linen sheets. Love them. I found them at Target, only on line. Threshold brand, on sale. They are great quality.
It is a bit warm in SoCal right now, and I think they may be too hot for summer use. But-Boy are they nice and good quality! Thanks again for your good advice Mavis.
