I’ve recently become obsessed with five-spice powder. I use it constantly on vegetables and even when making spiced nuts. So of course I was going to try to figure out a way to make it myself! Here’s a simple way to make a great new spice! It’s a perfect addition.to any Asian recipe, or yummy over any roasted veggie {carrots are my fav!}
Ingredients
1 tablespoon ground fennel
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon ground cloves
2 tablespoons anise powder
1 tablespoon pepper
1 tablespoon sea salt {can use regular salt}
Directions
Mix all ingredients and store in airtight container.
How easy was that?
