I’ve been feeling kind of crafty lately. Maybe it’s the cooler days and the crisp fall air–maybe it’s the sheer boredom? Whatever. Either way, I’m really happy with how this clothespin wreath turned out. I’ve needed something to hang on my laundry room wall, and this fits the bill.
If you want a fairly simple project, with high impact results, this is the one for you.
200 Clothespins {I found mine HERE}
Stain {totally optional and any color works}
Paint brush or old rag {to apply the stain}
18″ Wire wreath form {I found mine HERE}
Lay your wreath form flat on a table and start clipping your clothespins onto the wire. This will take some finagling until you get the pattern down. The ultimate goal is to clip each outer row underneath the inner row that came before it. Confusing, I know, but hopefully the pictures will guide you.
Once you have clipped all of your clothespins on, the wire wreaths should stay together and you can hang it up whatever floats your boat. Staining the wreath is totally optional of course. My walls are pretty light so I think I’m going to stain my wreath to make it really stand out on the wall.
Peace out crafty scouts,
~Mavis

Hi Mavis. You are very creative. I have a big mason jar full of little craft clothespins that I had no idea what to do with them. Now I do. 🙂 Thanks. Will have to be a smaller one, but that’s ok. You keep on crafting and making us all smile everyday. BTW, my kids and I think Lucy is so cute. 🙂
