What is it about your kids handprints that is so endearing {well, except for when they are all over the walls}? This wreath is a fun way to preserve your kiddos size just as they are and it doesn’t hurt that tracing their hands and cutting them out will keep them busy for hours.
You’ll need:
- 2 different shades of green construction paper
- Red construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Pencil
- Ribbon
Directions:
Start by having your kids trace their hands several times on both shades of green paper. Cut out the handprints.
Layer handprints in the shape of a circle, gluing the overlapping part of the handprint cutouts together as you go. Cut small circles out of the red paper.
Glue the red circles to the wreath. Allow the wreath to dry completely and then loop the ribbon around the top of the wreath, tying it in a bow at the ends.
Happy Holidays,
Mavis
