First off, what kid doesn’t love a project that involves chocolate? Second, these Hershey’s Kiss candy mice ornaments are so cute and would make great gifts for their friends.
You’ll need:
- 2 Hershey kisses for each ornament you plan to make {and maybe a couple extra for snacking}
- Pink felt
- Clear drying glue
- Fishing line or bakers twine
- Googly eyes {self-adhesive kind}
Directions:
1. Gently remove the tags from the Hershey kisses. If you need too, tuck the foil back around the top of the kisses.
2. Cut two small circles {about 3/8” tall} out of the pink felt and set aside.
3. Cut an 7” piece of fishing line and glue it in a loop to the same flat side of the kiss to form a hanger for the tree.
4. Once dry, add felt circles to where the center of the two Hershey’s Kisses meet with a dab of glue.
5. Attach the googly eyes.
The Hershey’s Kiss candy mice ornaments are ready to hang on the tree {make sure to keep them up high if you have pets so you don’t experience the chocolate consumption debacle that Lucy did}.
