I love handmade gifts from kids. I think grandparents get a kick out of them, too. I especially love them when they hold so much meaning, as this silly craft can. You can have your littles create your entire family as represented by snowmen using old buttons you have lying around. They can give each snowman their own personality until they have crafted your entire snowman family.
When I’m a grandma someday {in the VERY distant future}, I would love to proudly hang this craft on my fridge!
Supplies
Buttons {all one color if you have them}
Construction paper
Markers
Glue
Directions
Begin by choosing your background color. I chose blue because it looks like the night sky. Glue your buttons on in threes to make multiple snowmen. Using the markers, give each snoman some flair and accessories. The kids can go wild here and decorate as much or as little as they want. The nice thing is, they can do the entire craft from start to finish by themselves {unless of course your child is still at the button—or anything small and shiny—eating phase. Then they’ll need constant parental supervision!}.
Happy Holidays!
