It’s inevitable because we have so many devices and smart phones and laptops and Kindles and iPads and the list goes on for days, that at some point we will be overtaken by cords. It makes me crazy when they are plugged in because there’s no way to make them look neat, but I have to keep my OCD in check because it’s a way of life. We have stuff to charge. But then when things aren’t charging, those cords drive me insane! They’re just everywhere, taunting me. There is no neat way to roll them up and place them in a drawer so they’ll stay put.
Or so I thought.
Enter recycled toilet paper rolls. Seriously the easiest solution ever! And even more awesome? It’s totally free! Simply save your TP rolls, stand them up in a box {shoebox works perfectly} or even right in a drawer {you can easily cut them down to fit your space}, and place your rolled up cords neatly inside.
It’s been a long time since I’ve been this giddy about a silly organizational tip. But this.is.awesome. My only questions is, how have I just heard about it? I’ve been suffering from cord overload anxiety for years now, and it all could have been avoided with a simple toilet paper roll. Genius.

I am nearly giddy about this tip, too. Thanks for sharing it! I have all of our cords in a basket. Oh, my, they are always getting tangled up. This one is happening!
