Lunch packing season is back in full swing and I’m already tired of packing sandwiches! Good thing Monkey Boy loves wraps {the HH does too!}! So I like to mix things up and try new wraps. This Italian one packs a little heat, so if you’re packing it in a lunch, make sure to include some extra beverages to wash it down.
If you aren’t a big fan of spice, you can easily make this wrap without the Tabasco. I think it would be a shame because that kick totally makes the wrap. But kinda like dog people and cat people, I’ve realized you can’t convert a non-spice lover to a spice lover. Just doesn’t work!
Ingredients
4 oz Italian salame slices
2 oz pepperoni slices
2 oz pepperjack cheese
2 oz ham slices
4 teaspoons red onion, diced
3 teaspoons tomato, diced
1/4 cup lettuce leaves
1 teaspoon Tabasco
1 8-inch flour tortilla
Directions
Lay tortilla on a flat surface. Spread Tabasco evenly in the middle and then stack all the remaining ingredients on top. Roll up tightly. Cut each wrap diagonally in half to serve.
