With holiday baking in full swing, I can’t even tell you how many extra trips to the grocery store I’ve been racking up for a missing ingredient here or some extra supplies there. Whether you are right there with me, or just going about your normal grocery shopping, how does an extra $50 to spend at the grocery store sound? I’ve partnered with Safeway {aren’t they super thoughtful!?!} to offer this super fun giveaway that will help you out the next time you are loading up that cart:
Enter to Win a $50 Gift Card to Safeway!
One lucky winner will take home a gift card loaded with $50 to use as they please at any Safeway store (Safeway, Pavillions, Vons, Randalls, Tom Thumb or Carrs). Entering is easy!
HERE’S HOW YOU ENTER:
Life’s pretty complicated sometimes, so I like to keep things simple around here. You have FIVE ways to enter: 1 required and 4 bonus entries. That means you can leave a total of FIVE comments below for FIVE awesome chances to win.
1. *REQUIRED ENTRY* You can see a delicious recipe below I whipped up using ingredients from Safeway. What favorite recipe {holiday or otherwise} would you use your gift card to buy ingredients for? Leave a comment below letting us know your answer.
2. *BONUS ENTRY* Do you like/friend/follow me yet? Pick one or all and like me/follow me/subscribe to me via one of these forms of social media: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and/or Google+! Leave a comment below with the name of the site you followed, ie. “liked you on Facebook and Instagram.” Only 1 comment/entry regardless of if you follow me on all 6 sites. Which you totally should anyway.
3. *BONUS ENTRY* Tag @Safeway in a tweet about this giveaway on Twitter.
4. *BONUS ENTRY* Head on over to my Facebook page and leave a comment on one of the posts or pictures there. Come back here and leave a comment below letting me know which post or picture you commented on.
5. *BONUS ENTRY* Subscribe to my daily emailed newsletter. It’s an easy peasy way to make sure you don’t miss a thing. Plus, I’m way too busy gardening to spam you, so your email address is safe with me. Leave a comment below letting me know you subscribed.
Speaking of bonuses, check out this incredible Rich Hazelnut Bundt Cake recipe that is melt-in-your-mouth good!
Oh Nutella, you make this world better and my life better and this cake better. Like so much better. I want to find the person who invented Nutella and plant a big fat one on them. I suspect I’m not the only one, so it’s probably best they stay in hiding. As long as they keep producing the gooey, hazelnutty deliciousness, I’m totally fine with that.
Ingredients
2 3/4 cups flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, room temperature
2 cups sugar
4 eggs, room temperature
1 cup Hazelnut Spread
1 cup milk {I used 2%}
Powdered sugar for topping
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour a bundt pan and set aside.
Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together in a large mixing bowl. In a stand mixer {you can use a hand mixer instead} cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, pulsing after each addition. Then add the hazelnut spread and mix until combined. Add about half of the milk and half of the flour mixture and mix for a few seconds. Then add the remaining milk and the remaining flour mixture and mix just until combined. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan and bake for about 50 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy.
THE FINE PRINT:
5 entries per person/ip address. If you cheat, you will totally be disqualified.
This giveaway is only available to US residents.
This giveaway ends on Sunday, December 14th at 6pm MST and the winners will be announced in the Monday, December 15th edition of Mornings with Mavis. You will be notified via email and have 48 hours to claim your prize. Prize will be forfeited within 48 hours if not claimed.
Safeway is sponsoring this giveaway. They did compensate me for this post, but I would rave about Safeway even if they didn’t because I love me some Safeway!
Good Luck! I hope you win.
Peace Out Girl Scouts!
