Twenty Years.
The grocery store. You buy your groceries there, my husband, buys my 20th Wedding Anniversary gift there. Yep, that’s my guy…And to think I actually went out and bought 2 boxes of quart sized zipped baggies yesterday in anticipation of getting corn.
What a romantic.

OK, I just had my 20th in June and we had Costco pizza and salad for dinner, thought no one could top that! ๐
However, the kitchen design mag, is that a hint that he will be redoing your kitchen for your anniversary, because if that’s something that you wanted to do, and that’s what the magazine means, then he would get a GOLD STAR!

This is the perfect anniversary gift for the woman who has recently acquired a vacation home. Now you can sip tea, have your English muffin with jam, and turn the pages of an inspirational magazine while you figure out how to fix the kitchen the way you want in your vacation home.. He was thinking of you clearly. Not sure about the hot tamales, unless that is an homage to later on this evening.

Happy Anniversary. Fred Meyer has one of the largest jewelry stores in the nation. Since you have 100 jars of jam etc in your cupboard, he could have bought you diamonds or pearls, but the Hot Tamales can’t be beat. He should have bought 10 pkg of Hot Tamales.

Well, he did get the big bag. ๐

Today is my 21st Anniversary and my husband happens to be at our new home in Kansas ( me and the kids who are NY are not moving there until June), so I got my gift a few weeks early. Mine likes to shop at the hardware store , so I got new nickel shower curtain hooks, and a new nickel door-knob, and the mushy gift he did 21 index cards each written with a note of what big things happened to us that year and taped to each one was a nickel that matched that year in our life.
That explained the rolls of nickels he had brought home from the bank, Enjoy your treats as you enjoy planning a new kitchen.

Forgot to say for the 20th I did get a dream trip to London and a transatlantic cruise home, in April a few months early but I knew why we went.

Happy Anniversary Mavis!!!!
I had to smile when I saw your post. One day my honey went to Wal-Mart and came back with:
a card, some flowers, some Brach’s Indian Corn and get this…1 pound of Sliced American Cheese from the deli “Because when it’s a certain time of the month you like Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese” ๐ Gotta love them ๐
