That is a great deal on the Lodge cast iron. There’s a great deal on the combo, too, which I have, and it can serve as two items. The lid can be a skillet as well as a cover for the Dutch oven.

A couple of days ago I bought a 6 qt green enameled Lodge dutch oven on Amazon for $49.97. The green was much cheaper than the red or blue which were $77.25. Go figure. Yesterday I was on Amazon again. I found a great deal on 3 Lodge cast iron skillets (I bought them for my mom). In case the prices has changed, I paid $24.99 here http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Housewares-Pre-Seasoned-Piece-Skillet/dp/B000VTOG78/ref=sr_1_19?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1391103043&sr=1-19&keywords=lodge+skillet . It was then that I decided to look up the enameled dutch oven I had just ordered and guess what?! The red was EVEN CHEAPER than the green I purchased. It had dropped to $37 and change. The prices have been fluctuating so much! I almost ordered the cheaper one right then so I could return the more expensive one once it arrived. Has anyone else had this experience with rapidly fluctuating prices on Amazon? Today, the green dutch oven I purchased is listed for $65.79. Weird!
