This morning I popped by Albertsons at o’dark thirty to grab some milk before the store filled up with shoppers. As I approached the entrance to the store there were three giant boxes about 3/4 full with squash and a FREE sign posted on the front of the box.
OH HECK YA!
I picked up a few of the more ornamental squash for my front porch and 5 of the funky blue/green squash {that are very similar to the Jarrahdale squash} to bake into pies and to roast this winter.
Free squash! It might be worth zipping by your local grocery store today to see if they’ve got a big ole’ FREE sign out front too.
Good luck! And let me know if you find any.

That’s great! Can you experiment w/ pumpkin ice cream? There are 2 brands making it, only Turkey Hill is available in the stores currently. We got Edy’s last year. Both are good but I think I like Edy’s better.

Love free stuff! Did you have a random person take your pic? They should have paid you to dress up in your pilgrim outfit and hand them out.
