Since the kids have been back in school, my freezer meals, my crock pot and I have been practically been joined at the hip.
Why have I not been doing this for years? Holy time saver, Batman! Especially if you have to drive your kids all over timbuck2 and back for sports practice and games everyday after school. Seriously, being able to make dinner ahead of time is awesome.
Wanna know what else is awesome? This recipe. Only 4 ingredients and it’s delicious. YUM-O-YUM!

I was just telling my hubby I needed to stock the freezer! Pinning this to come back to when I get to that! Thank you for sharing!

You bet! I love freezer meals. 🙂 Or maybe I just like the idea of not having to make dinner every night. 😉

Does the alfredo sauce come out differently when it’s been frozen? I’ve always been worried to freeze dairy products, but this would be fantastic!

I thought it turned out great actually. 🙂

This was seriously amazing! We love Alfredo in this house and usually don’t have time to make it from scratch. We left out the mushrooms. It was a big hit in this house! Thanks 🙂

You bet! I’m glad you liked it.

Are these ingredients “per bag”?
Also… what kind of Alfredo sauce did you use? We’ve tried a couple of different kinds out of a jar, and we find something is missing from them. Could I use sauce from scratch? How much would I need?
Sorry for all of the questions! Thanks so much for all of your awesome ideas! 🙂

The chicken alfredo looks and sounds yummy, but I am concerned with “jar” ingredients. Check out the label and you’ll find it filled with junk you really don’t want to eat. Making the sauce isn’t that hard – butter, cream, cheese, salt, pepper tons of garlic. Make a roux, add the cheese and other stuff and stir until creamy!

A home cooked meal is better than a drive thru even if it does have jarred or canned products. My question is what do you serve this with?

what if I only have thin sliced chicken breast? Also can I substitute broccoli with Asparagus?

Hi there! Thanks so much for posting this recipe. We tried it tonight and while it was super-easy and yummy, it was a little too liquidy for my hubby. Could that be a byproduct of the frozen broccoli (as opposed to fresh)? Any suggestions on how to thicken it up? I can experiment on my own, but I thought I’d check and see if anyone else had this issue and figured it out already. Thanks so much!!
