A few nights ago I watched A Promise on Netflix and loved it so much that I watched it a second time while I was working on one of my hooked rugs. Amazon describes the film as a “Simmering early 20th-century love story about a triangle between an aging factory owner, his young bride and his handsome protégé.”
Although I wish the ending would have been a little more dramatic, I really enjoyed the film. But then again, I seem to like all those European love stories. 😉
Let me know what you think if you decide to watch it–or if you have already seen it.
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend,
~Mavis

Yes and with your daughter! Mine didn’t want me to watch with her (“so weird mom”) but it was fun to go back to high school crushes. Made for some fun conversations!

Oh it looks so good…..but I don’t know if I can watch it if she leaves her husband. I don’t want to watch a marriage break up. 🙁

You can watch the movie.
