Tonight I am going to watch Chaplin. It’s about the life of Charlie Chaplin–both on and off the screen. It got great reviews on Amazon–and I don’t really know that much about him, other than he was a Hollywood legend. This is one of those movies I just kind of stumbled onto, and I’m really looking forward to watching it. {It doesn’t hurt that I love Robert Downey Jr. }
Let me know what you think if you decide to watch it–or if you have already seen it.
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend,
~Mavis

A GREAT movie. RDjr SHINES!!!
Also, the woman who plays his mother is Geraldine Chaplin, Charlie Chaplin’s daughter in real life.

I just caught “Chaplin” on a movie channel a couple of days ago! I only had a chance to see about 50% of the movie, but it is now on my “Must See” list. Hope you enjoy your movie!

I absolutely love that movie! Robert Downey Jr nails Charlie Chaplin, and the music by John Barry is stunning. My favorite part, though, is that Charlie’s real-life daughter, Geraldine, played her own grandmother. There’s something really cool about that. I think Richard Attenborough did his best work in this movie (Robert Downey Jr., too!).

My husband loved all the Charlie Chaplin movies. At one time he had them all tapedand every time they’d come on tv he watch them again. I liked some of then but I prefered all the Shriley Temple movies. I’d watch then over and over…and till this day love them….Nothing like those clean old fashion movies.

I want to see Chaplin too. We now have Amazon prime so I will have dh show me how to screen it. Geraldine Chaplin was the beautiful wife of Dr. Zhivago in the movie.
