Tonight The Girl and I are going to watch In Search of Beethoven. It’s a documentary about the life of Beethoven, and how his work relates to modern day music. I love watching anything that shows people who are truly gifted in their element. It always leaves me inspired to be better, but since I only play the tambourine {and by play, I mean, I bought one at a garage sale this year} I think I will just settle for watching this one in awe.
Amazon Prime Members can watch In Search of Beethoven for free.
Let me know what you think if you decide to watch it–or if you have already seen it. Did you love it? Hate it? Can’t wait to watch it over and over?

Have you seen “Beethoven Lives Upstairs”? I first listened to it as an audio tale, then watched the movie with my kids. Even though it’s geared toward kids, my husband and I both loved it. I was excited when the story was in the reading book for the class i work with at school, too.
