Tonight the Girl and I are watching Somewhere Between. It is a documentary that follows several girls who’ve been adopted from China, as a result of the one child per family laws China enacted in 1979. It is supposed to be very moving look into the girls’ and families’ lives. I’m kind of excited to watch it with my own daughter.
Somewhere Between is available on Amazon Instant Video.
Have you seen it? What did you think?
Happy Friday!

We just watched the movie (thanks for the tip). Very good, very moving and thought provoking. I am from Germany (living in OHio with an American husband and two bilingual daughters) and wrote my social work thesis about international adoption. This was very interesting to watch. Did you like it?
