Hunt for the Wilderpeople is on the menu tonight. Here’s what I know about this one: a reader suggested it, it gets awesome reviews {97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes!!}, and the premise sounds super intriguing: Ricky, a defiant young city kid finds himself on the run with his crazy foster uncle in the wild New Zealand bush. A national manhunt ensues, and the two are forced to put aside their differences and work together.
Looks good, so we’re popping some popcorn and giving it a try.
Have you seen it? Did you like it? Let me know what you think if you decide to give it a watch!
Peace out Girl Scouts & have yourself a great weekend,
~Mavis

HI Mavis. I would love to hear what you think of this movie. It is real New Zealand Kiwi humour, fast and hilarious. I came out of the theatre with very sore jaw and ribs after laughing and crying so much. I hope you understand it all. Please let me know what you think. PS, Isn’t Sam Hunt dreamy!!!! We are very proud to call him our own.

Excellent choice for a movie. Really makes me want to visit New Zealand for the scenery. Sam N. is also one of my favourite actors since Jurrasic Park.
