If you are looking for something to grill this weekend for Father’s Day, these garlic and herb kabobs are super simple to make. Just mix up the marinade, let all the ingredients chill out in the refrigerator for a few hours and then fire up the grill. It’s that simple!
Garlic & Herb Beef Kabobs
Ingredients
- 1 pound sirloin steak cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons dijion mustard
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano , chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives , chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme ,
- 2 cloves garlic , minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
-
In a small bowl mix together all the ingredients {except the beef} until nice and smooth.
-
Skew the beef onto wet skewers and place in a roasting pan. Pour marinade over beef kabobs and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
-
Remove from marinade and cook over a medium hot grill until fully cooked {about 4 to 5 minutes on each side}.
I am in love with these Fire Wire Stainless Steel Flexible Grilling Skewers. They make grilling super easy!

Mavis! Do you realize you almost have spiedies? They’re a food native to upstate NY, I swear all you need to do is add red wine and some mint to the marinade and you’re really close! You should read the history behind them (think old Italian guys selling lamb ones off their stoop when lamb was cheap). I have a great recipe if you want 😉
