I’m ringing in the new year with one of my favorite giveaways: a $100 gift certificate to Fast Growing Trees to TWO of my lucky readers!! Yippeee. If ever there was a great way to kick off 2015, this is it!!
I loved {and miss terribly} Lemon, my Meyer Lemon Tree I ordered from Fast Growing Trees last year. She was accidentally left behind during our move this fall. 🙁 Little Lemon was the best tree, and since Fast Growing Trees knew I loved her so much, and because they are so amazing, they sent me ANOTHER Meyer Lemon Tree to replace her. I’m not sure I can love that company any more!
While I’ve only had this Meyer Lemon Tree a few days, my old lemon tree produced so many Meyer lemons, I was able to make some of the most delicious recipes, like this Meyer Lemon Pudding Cake or this Meyer Lemon Marmalade! YUM! When you have a tree that produces so much fruit, the possibilities are endless.
Just like when I got Lemon, Fast Growing Trees did all the hard work. I didn’t have to haul the new tree from the store, get the back of our truck filthy or worry about it tipping over on the way home. They make it so simple, so all you have to do is search their easy-to-navigate website, find the tree you love and click. The energy it takes to click a mouse is all you have to exert to get a tree right to your doorstep. I mean seriously?! Tell me that’s not awesome!
In addition to how simple it is to order the tree, and how speedy fast the shipping is, they do an amazing job packing their trees so they arrive in perfect shape, ready to be planted. Just like when I got Lemon, the root ball on this tree was in perfect shape too and there were already tons of lemon buds just like last time!
Plus, their customer service is awesome, too! Right after they ship your tree, someone over at Fast Growing Trees will send out an email with planting instructions so you know just how to plant the trees you purchased. They take all the guesswork out of it.
And guess what? Now you can see for yourself what a great experience ordering from Fast Growing Trees is! $100 gift certificates to Fast Growing Trees are up for grabs to TWO of my lucky readers!! Wahooo!

Good Morning-While I would love to buy a Meyer Lemon tree and make all those delicious looking recipes from your blog, it is currently 18 degrees BELOW zero in the Northeast where I live! Probably not going to work. I also dream of having a copper beech in my yard but once again it is not realistic. So when I looked at Fast-Growing-Trees, the autumn purple ash caught my eye. Hardy in my plant zone and I love planting trees for their fall colors. That one looked like a winner!

ooooh decisions decisions….I think my first choice to spend the $100 would be for the Wonderful Pomegranate tree. We are pomegranate lovers here. How cool would it be to grow our very own.

If I won I’d get two Sweetheart blueberry bushes, a Stella cherry tree and a Soursop tree. It’s well over $100 but I’m planning a patio garden and will be planting container plantings this spring. I live in an end ground floor apartment unit and have been allowed to put in two raised beds for gardening and can have a container garden for fruit trees. I’m planting strawberries in my flowerbeds to make good use of them and they will look pretty with my flowers.
Jenn says
Just saw the Trunkster on your Facebook page. What a great idea to have a built-in tracking and scale on luggage. I hope it becomes a reality.

I completely can’t decide: citrus tree, berry bush, or grape vines? Even if I could narrow it down to one of those three, I’m not sure how I would narrow it to which kind! But any which way, I would love to win.

OH, it’s a toss up! I really want a fruit tree or 10 in the yard, but the hubs is not down for that. I think one of the 4-in-1 trees would be perfect for our yard. The majority of the family likes apples, but hubs and lil man love pears. I would probably have to go with the pears just to persuade him to let me get the apple after the fact 😉 I already followed you on Pinterest and now I do on Facebook. This was made simple, after looking at the fruit trees for all of 2 minutes. My wife and I are looking to plant some “small” apple trees in our small garden. I opened the page to the apple trees and immediately saw the 4-in-1 Apple Tree. No Doubt, this is the tree for me and my $100.00 certificate. Cannot wait to win and start enjoying 5 months of apples year after year… Thanks, Mavis!!!!

Lindsi Meier-Vining says
I would spend my gift card on a Meyer Lemon tree. My maiden name is Meier and my grandpa on my dad’s side used to have this tree line his hillside property in southern CA before a fire took all of them. After the fire, he purchased one dwarf tree and kept it in a pot by his garage. As his health declined, the tree was neglected and only watered when the lawn care co came by to mow the grass. When he finally passed, my uncle on my mother’s side took the tree and has been loving it back to health. This was the first year that it produced lemons in many years. This type of tree is very special to me. If there was any funds left over, I would get some berry bushes for the front yard too.
