If you’re dreading the sugar overload that always comes with Halloween, check out these healthy Halloween treat alternatives.
They are so easy to make I probably don’t even need to give you instructions because just looking at the picture should do. And they only take 2 healthy ingredients. Also, they are so cute you’ll be the talk of your kid’s classroom if you bring them in for their Halloween party or serve them at your own!
Ingredients
Peeled oranges, whole
Celery stalks
Directions
Peel oranges. Wash and trim celery stalks. Cut celery into long stem-size pieces. Push a celery stem down onto the top of each orange and WAHLAH! Cute pumpkin treats that will make your dentist love you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this awesome idea! I made these last night to go with our Halloween pumpkin carving traditional meal of yummy mummies [hot dogs wrapped in refrigerated pizza dough (I’ve tried other dough-in-tubes and the pizza dough tears well to make the best “bandages”)]. My son absolutely LOVED the pumpkins! He’s a picky fruit eater, but even he couldn’t resist gobbling up his gourd. I used clementines and the green candies from a box of Mike & Ike candies for the stems [the added bonus was that the green candy colored the hole in the clementine, so when you eat the stem, the pumpkin top is still green–apparently that’s way cool when you’re a 7-year-old boy!]. 🙂 Thanks again so much for this idea!
