Most nights I prepare a simple dinner without really thinking about where the food came from or how much I spent on our meal. But last night as I was removing the cellophane from the packages of free pork I picked up over the summer, it hit me. Free food. I will be feeding my family a free dinner tonight because of coupons. Whoop Te Do. People use coupons all the time. But how many people use coupons to score large quantities of inexpensive food for their families like I do?
Sometimes I feel like a total cheapskate. Other times I feel good about spending so little money on food.
And then there are days I sit and wonder…
Could I ever go back to not using coupons?

Mavis I think you are a rock star for stretching every cent of your family budget. Feel guilty no way! If you were the CEO of a big corp you’d be getting a big fat bonus for what you’ve been able to accomplish. Just my 2 cents.

I feel proud of what I have accomplished with couponing in the past year. We are using the money we used to use on food to pay off debt. You should feel proud of utilizing a wonderful money saving tool!
