Etsy is pretty freakin awesome for doing just that. I love selling on Etsy myself. Etsy is to showing, what Pinterest is to telling. It’s where thousands of the coolest, most talented humans on the planet come together to sell the most awesome handmade stuff.

I started a shop, but only got a few things up before I had to temporarily stop due to a family emergency. I plan on getting it going again here soon. I take stained or dirty items and turn them into something useable again instead of just tossing them.

Mavis, thank you for giving us this opportunity. My name is Dawn, and I started an Etsy shop earlier this year after my husband was let go from his job. We decided to be our own bosses for now. My original idea evolved, and I am focusing on hand crocheted items. My shop name is inspired by my love of chickens. I am adding items daily this month so favorite my shop to get notifications.

Hi Mavis, I have been a long time reader of the blog. What a great idea to feature the shops. My shop was started last year when I moved from New England to Florida. I had to keep the Christmas spirit alive even when the weather was hot so I started my shop and make decor items for the holidays using vintage jewelry that I got from my mom. I love taking the beautiful pieces and making them into something that everyone can enjoy.
I hope you feature my shop this year. I didn’t make the cut last year but hopefully I will this time! Thanks!

Hi Mavis! So kind to feature Etsy shops. I started making weighted blankets because my son struggles with sensory issues and sleep problems. I soon discovered that there is a larger community struggling with sensory, anxiety, insomnia, and much more. I love having customers pick there own fabric for a custom one of a kind blanket.
