Hello Friday! Are you ready for the weekend?
Well Mrs. HB and I didn’t make it to Panera yesterday for lunch but we did hit up the Starbucks drive thru for hot drinks. She was pretty cold after her appointment {her teeth were chattering actually} and the Dr. found and removed two tiny polyps and sent them off to get biopsied {the Dr. said they looked normal}. She had the CUTEST man nurse, he was so sweet {he totally could have been a body double for Ryan Gosling} so that made the procedure all the easier.
Your health! Don’t mess with it. Schedule your check ups…. no matter how totally not fun they are. Okay, that’s it. PSA over for today. 😉
Have a great weekend everyone, hug your people! Take pictures. Wear stretchy pants. Eat yummy food. Slow down. Take a deep breath. And most importantly, take a NAP.
♥ Mavis & Mrs. HB

I’m so happy that Mrs HB has you as a friend 🙂
I second your PSA about getting check-ups! A friend under high surveillance for breast cancer because of family history (mamograms 2/year for the last 13 years) had an affected lymph node lump found in her regular annual exam. She is undergoing chemo now, she’s almost done. The disease wasn’t detected with the high-intensity screening, it was found with a manual exam of her tissue (the old-fashioned way)!
She should be fine in the long run, but it just underscores the importance of regular exams of all kinds! They work.
I hope you all have a Happy Holiday Season filled with family and joy. And cookies. Lots of cookies. I’m going to start my 17th-23rd dozen cookies in about a half hour 🙂 i may have a problem, but at least I give them all away!
