Where I live, I don’t take a ton of public transportation, but when we travel, we totally take advantage of it if it’s available. I thought this video about subway courtesy was a hoot–and so applicable to pretty much any kind of public transport, in any city.
On a totally unrelated note, I find puppets in leisure suits more amusing than I should.

I’m laughing my butt off! Now I know how to act if I ever need to ride the subway! LOL

I was laughing out loud at this! Having ridden the NY subway, I have seen all of this.

This video is a riot (and completely true). The Sunday papers here in NY were aware of the video and mentioned a new subway courtesy campaign directed specifically at the scourge of people, mostly men, who spread their legs so wide when they sit that they occupy two, if not three seats. Of all the things mentioned in the video, that’s the one that the subway brass is targeting.
I once saw two men who both felt the need to take up all that space end up sitting next to each other on a crowded train, and they almost got into a fistfight. I still chuckle about that.
