You’re never going to believe who stopped by this morning?! Mary from St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! She came to check out the garden and meet all of the gnomes bound for St. Jude! What a treat it was to have her here. My neighbor Hulda and I even got her to pick some peas!
I could tell the gnomes felt exactly like I did: this trip is feeling more real and I’m so excited I could almost pee my pants {I said almost. I’ll be stuck in a car with two other people, so for their sake I’ll hold it in & just squeal instead!}.
The gnomes were very welcoming as I gave her the grand tour of the garden. She was impressed that we already have 328 gnomes to bring to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. But we aren’t even halfway to our goal! I want to be able to show up with a big fat check for $10,000, so I need your help!
Have you sent in your gnome yet? Have you told all of your friends/family/random strangers on the street? Small gnomes, large gnomes, hand-painted gnomes or even gnomes drawn on paper are all welcome on our trip as we pile them in the Motorgnome and take what I can only assume will be an epic road trip across the country. Destination: Memphis, Tennessee!

Mavis!
I literally paid for the package at Canada Post when I got your email notification!! Incoming from Stoney Creek Ontario :). I’m so sorry the local honey I wanted to send got Kiboshed by customs form (Booo)… So I stuck something else in there instead! Should be there next week!
Keep up the fab work 🙂
