It’s no secret that we love Botanical Interests Seed Company. Not only do they sell the hands-down very best seeds, but they also employ the very best people {including my Online Horticulturist Boyfriend, Ryan}. The bottom picture just proves what a crazy bunch they are. I’m still not sure how they get any work done in the midst of all their shenanigans. But back to their seeds.
Their seeds rock. So of course they’d be included when I’m giving away my favorite things! I’ve had so much success in my garden when using them, so now I won’t plant any other seeds. Yep, they’re that awesome.
SIX lucky readers will win either an Heirloom Tomato Seed Collection or the Chef’s Herb Garden Seed Collection.

Tomatoes! While I actually don’t like plain tomatoes, I do like them in salsas and sauces and all sorts of yummy things! I happen to have a question about overwintering herbs though. Currently I have mint, oregano, chives (done), thyme, and a sprig of rosemary in pots but under an overhang. Since they are supposed to be perennials, should I keep watering them? Move them out of under the overhang so they get moisture from snow/rain? Cut them? Mulch them? Thanks!

Oh how to choose. I guess I would pick the tomato seeds that way I could save some and replant them the following year. I could make some nice homemade salsa and can them up.
