Backyard Garden Plot Pictures – Week 51 of 52
We had our first snowfall in nearly 2 years at our house on Friday and even though the snow didn’t stick around for long, I was able to snap a few pictures of our backyard garden while it was covered in a blanket of white.
As long as there is snow, I don’t mind the cold.
Lucy the puggle dog had a blast chasing after snowballs and munching on snow. She would have stayed outside all day if we would have let her.
Even the kale tree didn’t seem to mind.
Isn’t it pretty?
The greenhouse and cabbage patch {to the right}.
All the plants looked so beautiful, including this rosemary bush.
The chickens didn’t want to come out of the coop at first but finally decided to get their feet “wet” after staring at the snow for about 2 minutes. 🙂 Chickens can be so funny sometimes.
I love, love, love the way snow looks on tree branches.
Ahh Lucy, she had a blast. We all did actually. The kids went to school 2 hours late, I was able to stay in my pj’s a little longer and Lucy the trouble puggle was so tuckered out by around 2 pm she had herself a four hour nap.
Life is good.

You got the snow, we got our January thaw already. Rain from Thursday through this morning and major flooding going on because of it all. Gotta love Mother Nature and her weird sense of humor! Merry Christmas to you and your family Mavis.

Lovely photos! All we’ve had so far here in our part of Texas is sleet, ice and rain. Right now my back yard is a quagmire, the ground is so saturated. We need the rain though, so I ain’t complainin’!

I’m actually jealous of the snow! But Christmas in Australia is a great time of the year.

This looks like East of the MTS. North of Spokane… Not your side!
