The Girl Who Thinks She’s a Bird and I walked by a Pastisserie today here in Brussels, and started drooling. The display was out of this world. The only problem was, the employee working there did not speak English and I was not able to ask what it was they were selling.
I think maybe it was baklava… But I don’t know for sure. I’ve only had baklava once before.
All I know is that it has a bunch of chopped nuts in it. And they taste oh so good.
Does anyone know what we just bought?

It’s Sunday, and you entered the Church of Absolution of Calorie and Fat After Dream Forgiveness. You walked out with a box of heaven. This is your reward after the Healthy Barf Sandwich confessional.

It looks as though these are various Middle Eastern treats. Here are several quick google searches for the name on the building in your picture.

Too bad I had not found your blog before you went to England. My husband and I are travel junkies, and I’ve been to England twice. I’m sorry to say that most folks in London cannot cook; the food is awful. About the only decent thing to eat at an affordable price is Fish and Chips. However, the history and site seeing are fantastic! I hope you enjoyed your trip.
