May your day be merry and bright. And may you find absolute joy in the packages wrapped at the last minute by the men in your house. ๐

Merry Christmas to you, your family, and all of your readers! I love the legal paper and packaging tape:)
At least there was an attempt to wrap your gift, because my hubby just threw items for me under the tree unwrapped. I took gifts he got for the kids earlier in the month and wrapped them because I knew where his priorities would be. After 13 years, he has never wrapped a gift!

Merry Christmas to you and your family!! My hubby wraps well but also at the last minute. My son uses lots of tape when wrapping which prolongs the joy of unwrapping!! Our new puppy helped dispensing and unwrapping gifts too.

Mavis, you always make me laugh! Seriously, my husband announced that he would be upstairs wrapping my gifts. He asked if I had any wrap with the lines in the back! After several hours he came down for sustenance with sweat on his brow. I asked him exactly how many gifts are you wrapping up there??? He said only a few and BTW, you don’t mind if they don’t have bows on them do you? I thought he was kidding…He wasn’t! Lol

This really made me laugh as my husband was saying he chooses his wrap based on lines on the back or not!

I am so glad I am not the only one that receives oddly wrapped gifts! Mine was tucked into a Trader Joes bag, the top folded over and taped.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas Mavis. I look forward to your blog every day!

Merry Christmas! Enjoy your blog ALL year long!
The guys may not top the list for their great wrapping…..but they care enough to try and to choose a gift for us! (Plus I have lots of my friends….many younger….who have lost their husbands to death…..so I am giving thanks for the gift of having him!)
Celebrate greatly and fully!

After watching the beautiful job the first grade girls in my class did wrapping their handmade ornaments for their parents, and the boys doing pretty much what your guys did, I mused to another teacher, “I wonder what these guys will grow up to be?” The other teacher’s answer? “Husbands!” But you have to love them for their effort and it IS the thought that counts.

Ditto! Especially loved hearing about your seasonal job. I am thinking about getting a temp job in 2017 because of possible layoffs at husband’s work. Going back to cubicle work after 2 years away…… Love your ideas and HONESTY.
