After taking this picture and looking at it for a minute, I think I installed the tray the wrong way. It should go the other way, right?
2. Run, walk or crawl a Marathon, half marathon, 10k, and 5k race this year.
Last weekend The Church Lady and I participated in an very exclusive 10k race. In case you missed it you can read about it HERE. 😉
3. Remodel our Master Bathroom, Master Closet and Monkey Boy’s Bathroom.
Done.
4. Finish Every Room in Our House.
I need to go house plant shopping, hang a few things on the wall, find a mirror for the bathroom, paint, and do a few other random things before the house is done. I don’t think I’ll get this goal checked off my list this year but that’s okay. There’s always next year.
5. Turn Spare Bedroom into a Cozy Home Office Space for myself.
We gave the room to Lucy and I stole the HH’s office space.
We’ve got veggies growing in the front and the backyard these days and would you believe, no one has turned me in? Shocking, right?
7. Build a Path into the Hillside for Easy Access to the Upper Garden.
We built a fence instead.
8. Limit my personal spending to $100 a month.
Earlier this week I dropped $5.89 on a Home Sweet Home Pillow for the living room couch and a whopping $122.30 on wool. Why is it I have a hard time buying something for myself but I have no problem buying fabric that I’ll turn around and sell {in another form} and accent pieces for the house? Something must be wrong with me.
So far in October I’ve spent $128.19
In September I Spent $28.73
In August I Spent $27.29
In July I Spent $50.82
In June I Spent $6.00.
In May I Spent $26.50.
In April I Spent $18.46.
In March I Spent $42.44.
In February I Spent $32.52
In January I Spent $84.33
9. Purge… Weekly. Find 10 things each week to donate to the thrift store.
Mission accomplished. Not only was I able to donate a boatload of stuff to the thrift store, but I also made $473 at our yard sale selling my old stuff too.
10. Read 1 book a week. {So far this year I’ve read 82 books!!}
I’m having Downton Abbey withdrawals so I read Life Below Stairs this past week {interesting!} and J.K.Rowling’s Very Good Lives.
Blog all day, hook all night. 😉
12. Canning.
So maybe you think this is weird but we are going through a jar and a half of jam a week. Is that normal? I think I may have to pull some berries out of the freezer soon and make another batch of jam.
Did you set any goals for this year? If so, how are they coming along?

Do you buy books or get them from the library?

Mavis – I’d like to ask you about the art/canvas you have on your living room wall (brown background, vase and flowers behind your brown sectional.) Does it have an artist name anywhere on it (front or back) that you could pass along please? I really like it 🙂
Thanks!

I think your tray looks fine (and very organized)!
