Grow Great Grub was one of the few books I shipped over to Iraq when I moved here this past fall. Hoping to grow some organic veg once Winter is over 🙂

Be proud of me, oh great mentor of the barter! I’m a massage therapist, and the past few years I decided to downsize my practice. I now just have a small studio on my property, and I don’t advertise anymore. I simply kept the few clients that I’ve had for 17 years and who have been loyal to my practice. Recently, however, I joined a local coupon group, and I offered a barter deal to the ladies. I charge $35 for a full hour. I told them that if they wanted massages, I would trade them a one hour massage for the equivalent of $35 of food or other merchandise from their stockpiles. Whaddya think? Will et you know how all this turns out.
